How Can We Fight Fear?
FIGHT DOUBT WITH FAITH.
TRUST IN ‘THE FAITH OF CHRIST’
God is not out there far away for a born again believer. He is Emanuel, GOD WITHIN US FOREVER! (Ephesians 1:13-14, Colossians 2, John 3:13-18)
“Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will NEVER LEAVE THEE, NOR FORSAKE THEE” (Hebrews 13:5 KJV)
“No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is THE HERITAGE of the servants of the Lord, and THEIR RIGHTEOUSNESS IS OF ME, saith the Lord.” (Isaiah 54:17 KJV)
This is the heritage given to every born again believer. Our righteousness is not by our works. God says clearly, it “IS OF ME”. Trust who Christ MADE US in the Spirit the very moment we believed on Christ for our IMPUTED righteousness. Jesus took our sin to the cross, and paid for ALL our sins, nailing it to the cross.
In foreknowledge of all who would believe on Christ and His finished work on the cross, God placed our fallen spirit also on His cross 2000 years ago (Ephesians. 1, Colossians 2), and we rose again, a new creation in the Spirit, which GOD MADE the righteousness of God, IN CHRIST, in perfect union (2 Cor. 5:16-21). The Holy Spirit indwells us forever (Ephesians. 1:13-14, John 17).
This is who WE NOW, PRESENT TENSE, ARE, IN CHRIST! Children of God!!
So BELIEVE IT! When the wiles of the devil and fallen demons attack us.. (finances, life issues, temptations etc) do not FEAR.. Use FAITH that Christ is within you, and believe in the power of HIS MIGHT, NOT OUR MIGHT. SPEAK the Word of God against the evil ones lies. THE WORD OF GOD, as Jesus HIMSELF did against satan in the 40 days in desert.
“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7 KJV)
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of HIS MIGHT. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able TO STAND AGAINST the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, TO STAND. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about WITH TRUTH, and having on the breastplate of RIGHTEOUSNESS; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield OF FAITH, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.” (Ephesians. 6:10-16 KJV)
BELIEVE WHO GOD MADE US AS ETERNAL BORN AGAIN BELIEVERS!
” Ye ARE of God, little children, and have OVERCOME THEM: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” (1 John 4:4 KJV)
Christ lives in us and through us. Believe it !!
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but CHRIST LIVETH IN ME: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live BY THE FAITH OF the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” (Galatians 2:20 KJV)
HAVE STRONG FAITH / BELIEF in the promises of God for all us who believe and live FROM THE VICTORY JESUS GAVE US FREELY!
ONLY FEAR THIS….
“Let us therefore FEAR, lest, a promise being left us of ENTERING UNTO HIS REST, any of you should seem to come short of it. For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. For we which HAVE BELIEVED DI ENTER INTO REST as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.” (Hebrews 4:1-4 KJV)
ENTER HIS REST IN FAITH.
